VBS TV comes through every so often with some really bizarre interesting content. This is one of those times.

CMJ in review

Every one in Baltimore is amping the ef out. All the hype is about some show at Ottobar with some band I thought was called Foxtrot. They are actually called Voxtrot, which is even lamer. I am at the show. I feel like it is a joke. They might be the worst band I have seen play since ever seeing a band. Everyone is singing along and bouncing around. I am so confused. The lead singer has a blonde streak in his hair. The song lyrics are reminiscent to those of 1990s Jersey pop punk bands. Ben saw the light with me. So we sat at the bar and drank 1 dollar beers and made fun of stuff.

After I posted about that dumb show, I got this message on Myspace.

I had a friend introduce me to a bad called ‘Voxtrot’ and they are the worst piece of garbage.

Vice had them in the reviews section recently. It was something to the tune of; “if you are the kind of person who likes to take calm, relaxing strolls in enchanted forests talking to squirrels and baby deer about the rarity and loveliness of unicorns, then this band may be a little pussy-ish for your tastes.”
