Such a rad city. Went to Nike Headquarters and looked all around, everyone told me to try and get the “Air Yeezy’s” but those thangs are under lock and key and apparently still “in the kitchen.”
Still had a lot of fun, that place is huge and has some amazing memorabilia.
The show was really great too, got to meet up with Lauren my old roomie, Lindsey (the lindsays), and Ryan. We all hung out after at Dante’s and did some live band Karaoke which was pretty incredible. Went to the Jupiter and crashed out.
Now we’re off to Seattle, should be another good one.
So i’m talkin to my Portland dj/buddy Joe E Irwin and he’s telling me about his party he did with institubes this week and how downstairs there was some sweet “hook dancing” he proceeds to show me video and images below. PDX you are interesting place. Hi Cosondra and Angie!

Last night was of course mothers day. So I took my sister and moms out to Julianos raw food in santa monica. Had a nice meal and talked about cities we each would like based upon my travels. I decided my sister would like Portland the most. She’s just got a portland vibe… anyways that got me thinking about music from Portland and naturally Menomena came to mind.
