I’m in NY, had a busy day of meetings and an amazing lunch courtesy of GOOGLE in house chefs. Big shouts to UDACHI for lettin me come by and rob his company of some seitan vegan amazingness.

Anyways tomorrow im in Connecticut at Shrine gonna play some top 40 choonz and freak everyone out by 2 with some low end thump. It’s a funktion one soundsystem and the last time I got to abuse one of those I was getting dizzy while I was DJing because of all the bass thumping my eardrumsss.

Then up next I got LIV in miami on Thursday with the rapture d00dz. Should be great times. Hopefully mattie will be there so I can play House of Jealous Lovers and make him all uncomfortable haha.

Then Thursday I got Cool Kids record release party in Chicagoooo with Chuck Inglish and Skyler layin down choonz.

And Friday I’ll be back at home.

Man that was awesome, I knew it was gonna be cool - but I had no idea it would be all of my best friends getting wasted and tearing shit up together. Somehow paper mag sat my table next to the pegleg fam (harry & scott), Angels & Kings table (crush management, travie, etc), trouble and bass’ table, and the retro kidz who were 2 feet from the stage. I dragged AC Slater, Jen, Ricky from moodwing, Sabrina and Sandra to the awards also, so by the end of the night Luca (Curses/DTL), Patrick (The Captain), Ben (Passions), Vivian (Star Eyes) Travie and us were throwing ice on stage dancing to the hip hop bombs Mark Ronson was playing and being collectively blown away by how amazing Solange Knowles’ voice was. She can sing her ass off. Srsly.

Anyways I won the award for Best DJ and it made the night even more amazing, it was incredible to even be included in the same breath as James Murphy, A-Trak, Juske and everyone else while sharing the bill with friends I’ve known for years like Franki Chan, Harley and Cassie.

Thanks go out to Paper Magazine for throwing an amazing event and showcasing all the people who make going out in NY and all over the USA so much fun.

I don’t much enjoy cow milk or any milk from other species for that matter. I’ve heard RAW Milk is where its at, but fuck that shit. Im not even lactose but after a glass of milk I feel awful. Anyway now that you know about my intestines…

… Let’s talk about breakfast!

… Well actually lets talk about how I obtained my breakfast.

Last night I met up with Russ, Cory, Natasha, Robin, DJ Ruckus, and the whole rowdy/pink enemy extended family at La Esquina. I even got to see Jazz again, Jazz used to work security for Lohan so whenevs she wanted to DJ or wuteva me and Jazz would chat about nonsense. After the whole rehab ordeal or wuteva I lost Jazz forever. But last night he was with Evan Ross who’s workin with cory on some choonz. So it was quite the dinner like long last family reunited.

Srry about my rants, anyways after dinner russ,jennifer,cory and I went to Santo’s Party House to see Classixx and I also bumped into Eric from Wallpaper and Franklin Chan.

We hung out for a bit but it seems like downstairs Santo’s is ALWAYS empty. I’ve been there 5 times. EVERY SINGLE TIME it’s empty. Even with amazing line ups. I have no idea why.

So we left and went to Eldridge to meet back up with extended Rowdy family again. I saw so many randoms I haven’t seen a long time. Whitney Browwwwwn was there, I havent seen her in like 2 years. She used to be Katy P’s roomate. It’s like every friend I had for 3 days in my life moves to New York so I can stumble into them in Nolita.

… SO BACK TO BREAKFAST.

On the way home I hit the corner store and got some oreos. I walked up the 5 flights of stairs required to get to the apartment and my body wanted gatorade NOT oreos.

So I put the Oreos away and went to bed. This morning I woke up at 1pm. And decided I wanted some breakfast I go to the bananas and what do I see? The god damn Oreos. I decide those are way too unhealthy for breakfast until I see the Soymilk. Soymilk is healthy so it negates the oreos. WIN.

Except I Fail.

BECAUSE OREOS AND SOYMILK IS NOT GOOD.

I ate 5/6 oreos in Soymilk hoping each bite would be better than the last (”maybe if I dunk it longer?”).

Eitherway I poured that shit out and went to the 1% Milk in the fridge. I enjoyed that last oreo so much that I decided to drink the oreoy milk from the cup. BAD IDEA. Its fucking up my stomach now and all I can do is Marathon blog and put off this remix for “The Library” I need to be working on.

This remix is proving to be tricky btw. But should be a good one.

Got a little downtime and was planning on doing nothing but chilling, but I got lured into some CMJ shows like I knew I would both of these were at the request of the AfroPunk dudes out here, I can get behind afros and punk any time.

This is gonna be a great rock show on friday. Should be fun.

Last night I went out to sway and bumped into so many great people. Hollywood Holt, Roxy Cottontail, Mehdi, Nick “the best dude in the whole world” Catchdubs, Miss Maggie Horn, and as I was skippin out I bumped into Harry from Pegleg. So hyped for Cory and Russ to come into today. Should be a beautiful weeeeek.

last night was the gig at the blender theatre. twas well fun and had been sold out for a month before the show. Kids are crazy in NYC i finished DJing my set and looked out into the crowd to see mad 13 yr olds making out, fighting, all of them soo drunk/rolling/high that they couldn’t even think straight. Shit was weird. I felt like i was watching kids or something.

Played our set and I headed out to see Libby who I befriended in Nashville but now lives in Harlem (quite the switcharoo I know). She had some of her sister Lola’s friends running around NYC with her and it made me even more excited to see Lola and her together this weekend.

Then I stopped by beatrice to see pegleg harry and some other homies. Ran into Mr. Reza the Arab Parrot, seems the parrot’s been out in nyc for like a month and is loving it. In case you haven’t definitely do check out his blog TheArabParrot.com.

tonight i’m in dirty jersey spinning at Bliss. It bumps so hard in there i’m playing bassssy ch00nz. Can’t wait.

So cisco and I were supposed to leave yesterday at 7:40am on Virgin… time change, going out, and blackout curtains put an end to that idea real quick. So luckily we were able to reschedule for today at 9:30am, I woke up at 8:40 and we’re in midtown fuck fuck fuck.

It’s kind of incredible because I slept through the unfadeable blackberry alarm which never lets me down. I even skipped Beatrice last night so i’d definitely get up and go back. And we were flying the best airline ever VIRGIN AMERICA so how i fucked this one up twice i’ll never know. Anyways now we’ll probably just fly straight to texas and hope everything works out at sxsw. Shit Shit Shit, I guess NYC just doesn’t want us to leave.

I’m in NYC for TWO WEEKS straight.

I’m staying at this hotel (won’t entertain the stalkers…) and it’s like a SHOE BOX.
Anyway, I’m sooo happy in nyc. The first day I got here I walked down the street with the BIGGEST grin… PEOPLE talk to you! People let you know if they A. Love you or B. Hate you. There’s none of this “Yeah you’re great come to my party… bla bla bla” you show up and they look you straight in the eyes like a foreigner. Fuckers.

I’m here wrapping my forth coming record… that has taken for-ev-er (sand lot style) Working with my fav boys, Dr. Luke and Max Martin on a couple of songs and Benny Blanco from Spank Rock is putting a couple of his semen spots here and there. Blanco is like my favorite little brother that I never had nor wanted and told him he was adopted everyday. Love you. Hate you.
When I’m in the studio… we usually start around 5 and then go till like 3am… I take a nap usually and wake up to a thumping chorus in my face. It’s a great feeling…kinda, startling. I found a NEW energy drink though and it’s been keeping me crazy… you guys should really start mixing this with your vodka. You might actually get some play.
