Last night I went to a super dj nerd dinner with Atrak, Franki Chan, Daniel from La Riots, and Treasure Fingers. The only one of us who wasnt sucked into their twitterberry all night long was Daniel. And while he’s been fighting the urge i’m sure he’s gonna break soon enough.
Twitter has officially tipped.
I’m gonna go ahead and say it’s about a year away from facebook level acceptance. CNN is tweeting so our parents are gonna be attempting to figure it out. And they won’t be ashamed to join like they were about myspace, this isn’t some spammy dating thing this is the ultimate time killer.
Shaq has his twitter lined up and before you know it other athletes are gonna be following in his footsteps and my bro buddies are gonna be figuring out how this thing works so they can peer into their favorite ballers daily life. (which btw is amazing).
Simultaneously iphone/blackberry smart phones have become mainstream. This is the first step towards the future that makes sense, this is the APP that is bridging internet and cellphones better than any other.
But forget all of those things i’m gonna go ahead and paraphrase Atrak on this one and say Twitters real appeal is that “it’s a window into the soul” these arent paragraphs you edit and re edit, you gotta convey what your thinking quickly and directly. You really get to discover what people are about via this thing.
