So tonight I played one of the best parties in america hands down. Blow up SF is something special, I had no idea what I was in store for.
I flew out of LA around 2 got into San Fran at 3:30 ish and one of my good friends Lauren Entner picked me up from the airport. We drove to the Clift Hotel on geary and I grabbed a room. This hotel is dope! Recommended if you’re ever in San Fran. We went back to her place in Daly City and let her dog out, played some Rock Band (i’m terrible at the drums) and headed to the mission district to meet my homie Kerry for dinner. Lauren’s BF Greg (Overview) met up with us and we had some sushi at YoYo. I ended up finding out that Greg went to high school with one of my best friends Brick Stow, I really feel like it’s more like 3 degrees of seperation now.
Kerry took me back to the hotel and I tried to relax cuz i’ve felt a cold coming on for a minute. Got some room service tee and took a power nap till like 11:30 at which point i booked it downstairs hopped in a cab and got to the rickshaw only to see a MASSIVE line. I probably should have figured it out by then, but when I walked in I saw like 500 people GETTING DOWN. It was reallly really impressive, gave me some nerves for the first time in a while. Some people started chanting “Skeet Skeet” as soon as I walked on stage so I knew I had to get my shit together. I think I played a real eclectic set, a lot of stuff that I enjoy playing out. Some 90s, some really heavy electronic stuff.
The craziest part was right in the begginning of my set this dude STEVE MCCLEAN who I haven’t seen since I was like 15 showed up. We used to skate all over Davenport, Iowa together and now he’s in film school in Chicago. It was crazy, crazy to see him.
Here’s a pic of me and steve. We both look a little rough but Blow Up is that crazy.

I also met Missing Toofer Mike, Sinh “Coke Up… I mean Blow Up” Vo, and Kat and Pat who were dancing like crazy in the front the whole time.
LAST BUT NOT LEAST YOU NEED THIS SONG IN YOUR LIFE.
I’ve listened to this song on repeat for the last 3 days, i mean probably over 250 times.
