Hello all, my name's Trevor. My buddy Adam started calling me Skeeter Valentine a long time ago and now everybody calls me Skeeter or Skeet for short. This is my blog. I basically post things I find interesting or funny on the internet. Feel free to link here and if you do so, let me know so I can return the favor.
I’m in Toronto, loving the great white north. Yesterday I went by the Moog Audio Shop and played with a Tenori-On sooo dope, but I didnt have $1000 to burn at the moment.
Also got to hang with Grahm Zilla from Thunderheist. He’s still one of the best dudes on this planet. The full Thunderheist record is done and should be coming out soon. I’m excited for it to come out because the whole record isn’t just gonna sound like “Jerk It.” Isis is singing and they’re getting really musical on a lot of the tracks. It’s pretty great.
Today should be the real winner though because i’m linking up with the AutoErotique dudes and getting Roti. Roti is the specialty food of Toronto, I believe it’s because it’s a staple of the west indies as well and there is a large population of people from Trinidad and surrounding areas in Toronto. Either way i’m hyped on Roti, I’m also hyped that AutoErotique just got signed to Dim Mak and they’ve got some new highly bloggable remixes floating around.
Check this out and be prepared to hear it all over very soon:
Also if you didn’t already know AutoErotique is the new name of blog stars VNDLSM who had everyone playing their rihanna umbrella rmx about a year ago.
So here we are on the edge of 2008 and it’s time to reflect on a very blessed year for yours truly. I’ve met so many great people, done some really exciting things, and have been lucky enough to impact a few people this year with my favorite thing - music.
Heres a list of individual songs that impacted me in 2007, there could have been 20 more and tomorrow it would have been in a different order. But let me know what you think in the comments.
And you can download every song by right click or option click “save as”
Natasha Khan comes across as the most beautiful, intriguing person ever. I want to go on a picnic with her in the woods and listen to her tell me stories about owls and ghosts, and acorns, or whatever it is she talks about.

This is the biggest club tune of the year in my opinion, i’ve heard it played in top 40 spots in hipster spots, on power 106, it’s that great of a tune.

Lykke Li is gonna be so big in 2008, her vocal styling and production is to me like a poppy accessible Cocorosie freak folk meets Robyn thing. I love it more than a little bit (get it!)

These boys are awesome, who wouldn’t sign them on the spot. Good looking chaps, with an amazing sound, all the right people around them. Theyre destined for greatness already, and are the most laidback great people.
