Long time reader, first time poster – Lindsay here…
It was about a year ago that I met Trevor at a party I helped organize here in Vancouver, B.C. He asked if I’d like to post on his blog sometime and OF COURSE, I said yes.. but then I got really cold feet (how would I know what eatskeet visitors would want to read about?!).
I’m feeling brave today, but only so I can post about the EP some of my very best friends (who just so happen to be big in Japan [I've always wanted to say that]) have just released on itunes. Fake Shark-Real Zombie! released ‘Angel Lust’ January 9th, it’s a teaser for the band’s second full-length, Meeting People Is Terrible, which is due out sometime in the Spring.

Soo I got some super special advance tracks from the guys in Fake Shark Real Zombie. And they’re incredible, if you aren’t currently a fan of Fake Shark you should be. There last record Zebra! Zebra! was a favorite of mine (as well as henry rollins and countless others). But that record might have been lost on those who can’t appreciate some blood-brothers-esque-dancy-hardcore, this album on the other hand has some seriously catchy melodies and hooks.
I’m thinking Six Six Suck is my current fav, but Jewelry has a really amazing spacey feel. Almost like a pixies record or something.
I don’t know I just wanted to rant and give these guys some more attention because it’s certainly deserved. So go add them on myspace, listen to their old songs and tell all your friends how good they are so when this record comes out and everyone loves it you can brag about how ahead of the game you are.
