It’s that being cool is so lame.
The best thing about warped tour is definitely having the ability to wild the fuck out and have a good time every day of the summer. The saddest thing about warped tour are the too cool for school hipsters who were forced to come to Warped Tour because their underage Scene girlfriend just haddddd to see “Jack’s Mannequin.”
I can totally be that guy sometimes, and i’m gonna do my best to stop being that guy. I’m totally a music elitist snob dude sometimes and it sucks. Fact of the matter is different strokes for different folks. Personally i’m so juiced to see bands like Forever The Sickest Kids and A Day to Remember doing something they love and not being concerned about whether or not it’s “cool.” A lot of those guys are well into their 20s and making music that is mostly appreciated by kids way younger than that.
Also while I don’t do it much, I’m done hating on “blog house” or any other “trendy” music. That shit is fun, I still remember the day I heard “Waters of Nazareth” that’s up there with the day I heard “Chick Magnet” by mxpx when I was 11 and shit bricks. Or the day I heard AM/PM by American Nightmare. That song changed the lives of manyyyy a people, so I can definitely understand why there’s an army of people trying to recreate the sound.
Anyway I guess in short this post is about letting go of your ego. I’m not trying to get all fucking oprah new age and shit, but the other day I was talking to Bolthouse about just this and it’s some real stuff. If you can lose the ego you can be happy, when I get back to LA i’m done bitching about shitty clubs. I’m gonna go to Rhonda and dance my ass off. Because life’s too short to sit on the sidelines and make fun of the kid who’s having the greatest time ever losing it on the dancefloor.

So facebook has introduced an AJAX web Chat client kinda like Gchat in a few “networks” pics are up all over the netz but I think this guy posted stuff first.

I feel like it would run slow, but what do I know.
Anyways I don’t even really like facebook that much. I mean myspace had way sluttier looking chicks who invented the “myspace” photo. And it was basically born out of emo kids who got over makeoutclub and stepped it up to myspace. Facebook was born out of preppy east coast college types who made this all together to “clean” looking and kosher.
I miss the glory days of myspace with the sparkly “You’re Hot!” banners and the “thanks for the add” semi nude photos girls and bi curious boys would post on my page.
Nonetheless facebook is good when i forget a persons name at the club, i’m just like “Do you have facebook?” and they’re like yaaaa “jenny onglethorp” and i’m likeee oh ya i remember adding you now.
Anyways enough of my ranting i’m tired. I got a parking ticket in beverly hills the other day too, fuck that.
So lets see SXSW went like this for me. DJing everyday. Staying up all night. Not showering and then interviewing a couple bands here and there.

So Lil’ Chris is some kid who was on the show “Rock School”. Afterwards he put together a pop punk band and plays out under the name lil’ chris or lil’ emo chris. Everybody knows that I like what I like, no guilty pleasures here. I still jam to that Rufio album – “perhaps I suppose” and this lil’ chris character is trying to bring a similar sound.
Regardless he blatantly ripped off the buzzcocks for his second single “gettin enough”. And I can’t tell if I like it.
