I’m in NY, had a busy day of meetings and an amazing lunch courtesy of GOOGLE in house chefs. Big shouts to UDACHI for lettin me come by and rob his company of some seitan vegan amazingness.
Anyways tomorrow im in Connecticut at Shrine gonna play some top 40 choonz and freak everyone out by 2 with some low end thump. It’s a funktion one soundsystem and the last time I got to abuse one of those I was getting dizzy while I was DJing because of all the bass thumping my eardrumsss.
Then up next I got LIV in miami on Thursday with the rapture d00dz. Should be great times. Hopefully mattie will be there so I can play House of Jealous Lovers and make him all uncomfortable haha.
Then Thursday I got Cool Kids record release party in Chicagoooo with Chuck Inglish and Skyler layin down choonz.
And Friday I’ll be back at home.
I watched half. Then I had to go DJ the Universal after party. Keyshia Cole came, and she’s got a serious presence. The coolest thing about the party was Jimmy Iovine hand picked the entertainment. Shwayze, Goc One, Timbalands DJ, and Me that’s kind of flattering that music’s biggest exec wanted me to play his party.
Anyways the first half I watched were not tight, Alicia Keys fake played the piano while virtual dueting with Frank Sinatra. So right off the bat I know this was gonna be a shit show. I’m pretty sure Carrie Underwood was the only one who didn’t lipsync.
And the Daft Punk Kanye thing was dope. Also his song for his momma just about had me in tears.

Last night I DJed the opening of “La La Land” a store that opened on the Third St. Promenade. Had a well good time and all my friends came through including bandmates, Shwayze and Cisco. Cisco brought his little protege Lisa D’Amato and Perez Hilton wanted her to perform her new song “Hopscotch” so i dropped the track and Lisa brought the dance moves.
Go Lisa Go Lisa.
Also tonight i’m DJing @ temporary spaces!
Some dude has figured out how to run his nintendo wii through Traktor and is “DJing” with his wii.
Kind of cool, kind of ridiculously nerdy.
I’m DJing some really great parties this week.
The monthly Hush Hush is going down this friday at Cinespace. Should be a blast like last time.
Saturdays at Sideways lounge have been real fun. Come on down.
Also the new Youth Group weekly “flash” is going down at spider club on mondays.
Everybody, i’m DJing Holly’s this Saturday. It’s gonna be rad, I haven’t really been doing any club DJing because I haven’t been thrilled with the way a lot of clubs in this “scene” have been run.
But at holly’s we’ve got a great intimate place (will probably hold 120 people). That is well put together in the heart of Hollywood.
