I rolled into the Big Fun/Mad Decent testosterone fueled DJ power struggle at 205 Sunday night, around midnight. There were at least a hundred kids outside and it was maybe 10 degrees out. I tried to tell some girl who seemed to know what was going on that I was on a list. She asked my name, checked the list, and then lied and told me I wasn’t on it. I stood there fake waiting for five minutes, before asking her again. I watched her field other people’s requests to get in by simply fake looking at a clipboard and saying “no.”

I pay no attention to DJs. I am notorious for this.

I do occasionally listen to remixes people give me. When I do, it’s always alone in my apartment, while microwaving dinner. So, I sort of half listen while I watch my pizza spin in circles. Then I just book DJs I am friends with.

So on Sunday I DJed a Super Sweet 16 jump off at Koi. The birthday girl and the whole family were incredible and threw together a really nice party for the birthday girl.

I was talking to Diplo about this online and he was telling a bunch of the hollernerds about how him and Girl Talk did a Super Sweet 16 the other week and he recorded some of it.

This is amazing but be warned the mic on macbooks aren’t exactly up to handling club levels haha.
