The Department of Defense announced Monday that research scientists at the Massachusetts Institution of Technology have successfully tested the first quantum teleportation. Two white mice, weighing between 87 and 90 grams each, received clear bills of health after they were simultaneously converted to photons of light and then transported 13.7 meters through a hydrogen gas tube. They were interstitially reconstituted within 10 seconds and exhibited physical movement 17 seconds later.

Dr. Richard Heisenberg directed the initial experiments and was present for the successful test, conducted in the presence of media and peer review committees. Many of the MIT team members were uncertain if the animals would actually survive the proton-hydrogen transport.

Much of the scientists incertitude began with Werner Heisenberg, Richard’s namesake, who was the first scientist to realize that certain pairs of measurements have an intrinsic uncertainty associated with them. For instance, if you have a very good idea of where something is located, then, to a certain degree, you must have a poor idea of how fast it is moving or in what direction. Now referred to as the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle, in effect, the principle states that within the principles of quantum mechanics one can’t measure both the direction and speed of a moving object.

Russian police are hunting a “werewolf boy” – who snarls and bites – after he escaped from a Moscow clinic just a day after being rescued from the wild.

Doctors expressed shock saying he was found living with a pack of wolves in a remote forest in the Kaluga region of central Russia.

The ‘werewolf boy’ has escaped from a Moscow clinic just a day after he was found. It is thought he was raised by wolves and his toenails are like claws

“He’s clearly dangerous to other people,” said a police spokesman yesterday.

“He’s got typical wolf-like habits and behaviour.

“He has very strong and sharp teeth, which could really endanger someone if he bites.”

The boy looks about ten – but after tests conducted by Moscow medics, they believe he maybe much older.

They are puzzled because he appears intelligent but does not seem to speak Russian or any other language. It is suspected he has been running wild for many years.

Such cases are not uncommon in Russia where there have been regular reports of ‘Mowgli’ children abandoned by their parents who are cared for by animals.

The boy moves around with his legs half bent, said Tvoi Den newspaper. “He was running with wolves and searching for food with them.”

Villagers found this “wild creature” in a lair made of leaves and sticks in freezing temperatures and told the police who named him Lyokha, though his real identity is not known.

The ‘werewolf boy’ looks about ten – but Moscow medics believe he may be much older

“He’s dirty, hungry, and looked to have had a hard time,” said the police spokesman. “We brought him to a clinic in Moscow.

“It was simply unbelievable. He doesn’t react when we call to him.” Medics gave him clothes and said that he sprang down the corridor, bursting into his room and devouring his food like an animal.

His nails on his feet were like claws.

After 24 hours he had evaded security men at the clinic and escaped. He is now believed to be on the loose in Moscow region.

“We didn’t even manage to complete the proper medical checks. We only succeeded in giving him a shower, cutting his nails and took some blood and other tests,” said a doctor.

“It’s quite possible he is a dangerous with psychological problems but also a source of viruses and infections.”

Last night after I DJed the Brian Lichtenberg Fashion Show Afterparty, I went to the Fools Gold Tour (Featuring Kid Sister, A trak, Mehdi, Kavinsky, Catchdubs, Cool Kids). It was the perfect blend of streetwear jocking, crunchy electro kids, and it was ridiculous-insane-crizazy, A-Trak killed it. Dude is such a good DJ, and fuck the turntablist shit he did what good DJ’s do. He played the hits, and played them right. That place went OFF! Like ridiculous, and me and Brick both had a serious moment. We just looked at each other and were thinking the same thing “How the fuck did this happen?!” I remember hearing Waters of Nazareth in like 2005 when I was still playing college football, and realizing this was some life changing shit for me. But I never EVER EVER EVER thought anyone else would give a fuck, this shit is techno. Nobody likes “techno” in the united states. Nobody cool at least. Brick was right there in the beginning too, he was workin at dim mak when Russ started. Then when Russ and I met at “The Sounds” tony the beat video shit really started poppin, between guest DJ spots, Hush Hush, and other shit me, brick and about 25 other people have witnessed a revolution. A legitimate revolution.

I can easily remember my first DJ gigs, playing fischerspooner and crappy electroclash and trying to play “we are your friends” while it cleared dance floors. Not just in bougie clubs, in every club. At hipster spots you had to play the strokes, the yeah yeah yeahs, interpol, things of that nature to get people dancing (of course classics are classics).

So to watch a whole building about to explode to we are your friends, watching trashy OC girls, Punks, Hip Hoppers, Hipsters, Bohemian Kids, all coming together to chant “we are your friends”, body surf and dance the night away to some fucking techno. This is some mind blowing shit. Like some mind fucking what is going on here bizzaro world shit.

A robot cannon began wildly firing on its own for some reason in South Africa last Friday, killing nine soldiers and wounding 14. The Oerlikon GDF-005 antiaircraft gun suddenly began uncontrollably firing as it swung back and forth, spraying hundreds of high-explosive 35mm cannon shells all over the place. The crazed robot’s handlers are still trying to figure out what sort of software bug would cause such mayhem. The video you see above is not the actual incident, but is a similar occurrence from a few years ago when an XM-151 remote weapons station filled the air with lead, and then spun around toward the reviewing stand in search of even more targets. A species of shark rarely seen alive because its natural habitat is 600 metres (2,000 ft) or more under the sea was captured on film by staff at a Japanese marine park this week.

The Awashima Marine Park in Shizuoka, south of Tokyo, was alerted by a fisherman at a nearby port on Sunday that he had spotted an odd-looking eel-like creature with a mouthful of needle-sharp teeth.

Marine park staff caught the 1.6 metre (5 ft) long creature, which they identified as a female frilled shark, sometimes referred to as a “living fossil” because it is a primitive species that has changed little since prehistoric times.

The shark appeared to be in poor condition when park staff moved it to a seawater pool where they filmed it swimming and opening its jaws.

“We believe moving pictures of a live specimen are extremely rare,” said an official at the park. “They live between 600 and 1,000 metres under the water, which is deeper than humans can go.”

“We think it may have come close to the surface because it was sick, or else it was weakened because it was in shallow waters,” the official said.

The shark died a few hours after being caught. Frilled sharks, which feed on other sharks and sea creatures, are sometimes caught in the nets of trawlers but are rarely seen alive.
