Hmmm…that’s a tough one. I loved last season, and that cast went to some amazing heights. I’m not sure if this cast can get there–at least not yet. But damn, this season is really picking up! Thanks for posting the episodes dude.

cook is the greatest character ever..

I like both Casts. I loved Chris and honestly cried when he died. But I think Cook is like the New Chris. I didn’t think I’d love the new cast because the old one was so good and I do still miss the old cast but I really like a lot of the new cast and I really love the whole show in general! I wish we had a station that played skins in Canada!

I don’t know I mean pandora and effy are brillant, but was a big fan of the whole Cass and Sid thing, just you couldn’t help but feel bad for the dense character of Sidney who i constantly trying to escape Tony’s shadow. Yea, the last two seasons are brillant, we’ll have to see if this one pans out well, i hear there is a massive lesbian scandal rommance, but i don’t wanna give away too much…

I started watching with this cast, but I’ve since gone back and watched much of the first two seasons with the old cast. It’s pretty close, but I’d pick this cast. Tons of potential & it’s getting off to a great start. Pretty much hooked.

I only see the 2 first seasons, and its beautiful, im going to start see the 3rd season and i think i will be disapointed, but let’s try, i will miss the old cast!

but…

I actually watched season 3 before season 1 & 2 (The Internet, ah, the wonderful Internet), so I have almost equal love for both casts… but because of Sid and Cass & Tony’s episode in series 2, I’d have to say I like the old cast better. But again this cast is a lot of fun and I really liked all of season 3 (especially JJ’s episode). It;s great. Skins is great. love, love, love.

oh, and one more thing, series 1 and 2 always left me basically gasping for more and with a wrenching feeling in my heart, like I was going to burst because of my uncontrollable love, hatred, and frustration for the show. So far season 3 has yet to do that to me the series 1 and 2 did.

I’m sorry for such a ramble… but I just finished the two first seasons. I wish there could be more. But at the same time I don’t.

first cast for sure; cass & sid were amazing, and chris was the best character, and tonys storyline was interesting…i especially loved when heartbroken cassie went even more crazy and messed up…the episode where chris nearly dies and the final where cassie runs away made me cry so much.

i like the new season though, but effie makes it, and i feel thats because shes from the first cast..shes so beautiful and complex

but i feel the old cast had better connections with each other, their friendships were realer and stronger and they were really there for each other from the start they were already friends where as new cast are all meeting each other and dont really know each other..
new cast seem to still kinda hate each other and just fuck each other.

still skins is the best shower ever and im glad theyre continuing it.

I think to compare these two generations isnt fair.
The first season was phenomenal in their own way. They’re lives were fucked up from the outside. Family, friends, enemies. School.They’re health, everything was set against them.
This generation hwoever, had to fight their inner demons. Tormented by who they were and not by outside influences. effy being the prime example of this.

I have a tender spot for different characters in each season and i really wish they had went thru with the Skins movie.

However, i am looking forward to the next cast!
