DJ Mashhhtastic tool.

So I heard that MSTRKRFT remix of Usher “love in this club.” And it sounded good, but I felt like they just had a song they weren’t gonna use on their new record and tossed the vocals over it.

Needless to say everyone in the whole world loved it, and I figured I could do a little blend that sounded similar. So here you are.

Shirtless Usher for Dirty Dave and Johnny Love’s viewing pleasure haha.

I’mma Be Real w/Ya And I’ve Never Felt Like This aBout Any Of Your Other Work, But I’m Not Really Diggin’ This Mash Up……….I Didnt Like MSTRKRFT’s Either(So Its Prolly Just My Bad Taste) or It Could Be The Original Being Over Played…….But On A Positive Note The No Diggity Remix Is Still Killin’ It Thanks For Finally Makin That Available

ok, now i don’t mean to be ignorant or anything right now, but i grew up in carmel, indiana and im just being curious.
when you are a dj and you do remixes or mash ups or whatever how do you get rid of the other music, or just pull out the vocals or whatever? do you have to get a copy of the original file that was recorded, or is there software that lets you pull out the diff parts?

I think this is effin ill- i’ve been looking for a way to use the fake blood theme in a set, but most of the folks I DJ to only want to hear stuff they recognize, so I feel like this is a great way to stretch them boundaries. Mad props.
