The hollerboard had a little post dedicated to the idiocy that is shutter shades. Please stop, I had some girl come up to the booth and say “play kanye” i look over and she is wearing some cracker jack box bootleg ass shutter shades. And she says “these don’t come out for just anything.” Except every wack ass party you go to.
Was that a mean post? I think it’s the heat, it’s driving me insane. Also PRESETS tomorrow in LA yaaaa

I went to Glow in the Dark concert down here in Miami two weeks ago (It was the shit, if anyone doubts it). Point is that I contemplated the idea of wearing a pair, and my best friend (whom I was going with) convinced me not to, since he’d thought everybody was going to wear them. Sure enough almost every single person in the AAA was wearing them, I don’t know whether or not they were being given away but it sure as fuck seemed like they were.
Now, I know what you may think: “it’s understandable for everyone to wear them to the concert of the guy who makes them famous” right?. Sure, but what if there is no place you can go without seeing a quarter of the people wearing these things in every color imaginable?
The party, the club, the beach. . I hope it doesn’t get to the point where I see them at the college, but that’s the direction where this (no longer) trendy item seems to be headed.
People just don’t learn to let go of trends once they’re TIRED.
To me this is TRUCKER HATS all over again, and we all know how long that lasted, don’t we?

A-fucking-men! I thought I was the only one annoyed by those silly glasses. “Freshers” in my uni (i mean “freshmen”) think theyre so cool sporting the shutters at parties but they look completely retarded and banal.
