Today is my birthday, first song i listened to in my 22nd year of existence: Sunset Rubdown - I’ll believe in Anything.
That song is so fucking good. The wolf parade version is epic, the Sunset Rubdown version is heartwrenching.
The rest of tonight is gonna be spent writing out goals for this year, #1 is still to have fun everyday. I don’t give a fuck if i’m broke or if i’m ballin. I just wanna have fun, and I think all you people out there should do the same. Get up every morning and do something fun to start your day, then cross your fingers it stays that way.
Alright enough with the sappy shit. But possibly the best song ever.

pssssss so on my nyu application they have this fucked up question that is something like if you were singing in a talent show what song would you pick. while i was tempted to write a hilarious answer like new york new york, or new york state of mind or something really corny and hilarious i wrote about naive melody, because i did once audition for a benefit concert because i sing in secret and i did pick that song because it is one of my favorites. oh but then i didnt perform in the show so it was ok and i can still live in secret
