The new album will be out digitally on their website only on October 10. If you pre-order the digital download, you get to pick how much to pay for it. If you opt for the physical copy, it cost $80, but you get a cd, double vinyl, the digital download, and plenty of other bells and whistles. No label involvement whatsoever.
Basically they just went around the whole damn racket and said “fuck it, we’ll just sell shit however we want to cuz we’re the most influential band in this digital era.”
Radiohead just changed the whole game.
