People always ask me where I find half the shit I play.
It’s either:
A. Internet - I get a lot of gems from searching blogs and last.fm.
B. Swap Meets - I get a lot of good vinyl from swap meets, invest in a portable record player.
C. Word of Mouth - Below you’ll find an example.
Radam of Totally Radd!! fame
- Radam hears french song instantly thinks of Lucy. Sends her MP3 in email.
Lucy of LucyTheDinosaur Fame.
-Lucy picks me up to go to whole foods so she can make a banana pie.
-We start talking about bananas and graham cracker crust and she starts playing her ipod.
-About 30 seconds into this ukulele backed french song, I grab lucy and stop midsentence.
Then I find the video on Youtube. (of lipsynching “milk and cereal” song fame).
I post the video on my Blog.
And drop an Mp3 as well.
